Polka dots & Leather

It's been in the low 50's (in the mornings it's in the low 30's!) these past few days here in Houston and I'm loving it!  Of course it's going back up to 70 soon so I better enjoy the cold while it lasts.  So it's time to enjoy this cooler weather with light sweaters, boots & chi tea lattes!

Baby, it's cold outside!

Like, 17°, snow-covered ground, jeans-aren't-warm-enough-without-leggings-underneath, I-hope-my-car-doesn't-break-down-and-leave-me-stranded-in-the-frigid-night-because-I'm-not-Elsa-and-I-don't-wanna-build-a-snowman kind of cold. And, no, that's not at all melodramatic. *cough*

  Despite the freezing temperatures, I was actually excited to finally get to break out my chunky scarf and homemade slouchy beanie [that I forgot to include in my photos].  I even felt bold enough to go out with red lipstick on and leave it on!  I'm pretty sure it helped me do well on a test I had today.  I highly recommend it as a testing strategy.
