The weather here in Houston, TX has gotten much more fall like but still not cold enough for sweaters & boots, sigh. Although I know that once it does get cold I'm gonna want this warmish weather back... The grass is always greener, right?

The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway
The office I work in is generally very cold, no matter the season. Consequently, I find myself dressing as if it's winter every day. Not that I'm complaining - I love winter and cold-weather fashions! And since north Texas still thinks it's summer, I'm going to enjoy my cold office space because at least the temperature in here is more seasonally appropriate. Thank goodness for space heaters and hot coffee/tea! (Not pictured - the jacket I wore over this outfit most of the day. It really is that cold in here).

Busy, busy
Hello, hello! It's been a busy past few weeks here in colorful Colorado, with school taking the highest spot on the to-do list, and admiring the beautiful changing leaves a close second. But I found the time for a post this rainy, chilly fall day, and I knew I needed to seize that opportunity right away. After all, when only one of your classes is on-campus, there are only so many days that aren't spent in yoga pants and t-shirts, and that's hardly photo-worthy. I was definitely wearing one of my favorite coats before these pictures were taken (it was raining and 57ยบ today), but I unfortunately did not think to take any while wearing it.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

How neat is this ring? My sweet sister bought it for me from Claire's. Affordable and cute? Yes, please!
Always a good day for a messy bun.

"Dunder-Mifflin, This is Pam."
Since I work as a receptionist in a Country Club, I have the opportunity to show this blog another side of fashion - from a professional business perspective! Our club does not have a super strict dress code, so I am free to dress how I want, as long as I look respectful and neat in the end. This gives me a lot of freedom to experiment with different looks, even if the bipolar weather here in north Texas doesn't give me much freedom there. One of my recent looks is in this post. It definitely had a "businesswoman" feel to it and I had quite a few compliments on my outfit that day!

* I am new to blogging and especially taking photos of my outfits. Next time I will get close ups of the shoes and accessories! *

Iced Lattes & Turtle Print
Spent a relaxing day walking around La Centerra (an outdoor boutique-style shopping center) with the Baby & sister. It was a lovely 85+ degrees outside but an iced cinnamon dulce latte helped battle the heat! We explored all of my favorite stores; Kirkland's, Apricot Lane, Francesca's, Gymboree (we must've "awwed" at every little thing!) & World Market. All the makings of a great day! And on another good note: my latest Francesca's order arrived yesterday! Obsessed with this turtle print necklace & fabulous bracelet! And the best part? They were 50% off! Ohh happy day!
