Fashion Friday: sketch edition

Hello all!  We decided to try something a little different for this post; all of these sketches were done by the sis in Houston who, in her rare spare time, enjoys combining her love for art & fashion in these simple stick figure sketches.  We think it's a perfect post for this Fashion Friday!  Enjoy & happy weekend all!

Pointed-Toe Flats

Did anyone else head to Target the day the Cartwheel app had 40% off shoes (including clearance ones!)?!  I did, and the shoe section was much too crowded for my liking, especially with a baby in tow.  But I did manage to snag one pair of pointy toe flats that I love.  And the best part?  They were $3.00!!  Ahh Target, you've done it again.  That Cartwheel app makes shopping there sooo easy.  As if it wasn't already easy enough buying stuff you don't need from there... Actually, I really did need a pair of black flats, so there, it's justified.

Fashion Friday

Christmas may be over but red is always in season, especially around February!  This was definitely a more "comfy" outfit (we all know that maxi skirts are just crotch-less yoga pants) but still professional enough for the office.

And wavy hair just makes the day more fun!

Just got back from visiting one of the sisters in CO. and it's crazy to think that the weather here in Houston was the same as in Denver a couple days ago!  Texas was really upping it's winter game. I'm gonna enjoy the cold for as long as it lasts though because I know that all too soon those 100 degree days will be back & I'm not sure I'm ready for them...

P.S.

American Eagle jeans will be my favorite jeans forever & always.  Like, I'm gonna be 40 and still buying them from there. No shame.
